GUIDED BY TECHNOLOGY
Dedicated To Pipeline Safety

echnology-Driven, Committed to Pipeline Safety

Technology Builds the Foundation, Service Delivers Our Commitment, and People Drive Our Success.

"Guide Wave Ltd." derives its name from the transliteration of "Guided Wave," symbolizing our commitment to guided wave technology as the core of our expertise in delivering high-quality and efficient inspection services. Established in 2021, Guide Wave Ltd. specializes in non-destructive testing (NDT) services for industrial pipeline corrosion, with the mission of becoming the most trusted inspection partner for our clients.
Our core strength lies in Guided Wave Technology, which enables rapid screening of large sections of pipelines for corrosion while minimizing insulation removal and scaffolding costs. This approach allows us to efficiently identify potential high-risk areas. Furthermore, we integrate advanced inspection technologies, including Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC), and Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT), to provide our clients with highly efficient, accurate, and reliable inspection solutions.

Customized Inspection Technology Development

Your Challenges, Our Solutions.
Led by Dr. Ping-Hung Lee, Guide Wave Ltd. is committed to understanding the inspection challenges faced by our clients. When commercially available inspection equipment cannot provide an effective solution, our team combines in-depth problem analysis with technical support from our international partners to develop customized inspection technologies tailored to specific application needs.
Our Electromagnetic Guided Wave Boiler Tube Corrosion Screening Technology was developed in 2023 to support a client's comprehensive boiler inspection project. Based on our guided wave research and testing on boiler tubes, our overseas partners developed the required inspection hardware, while we collaborated with domestic university research teams to develop the software interface. This integrated solution efficiently converts large volumes of guided wave data into a comprehensive corrosion distribution map of the entire boiler, enabling clients to quickly identify high-risk areas with potential tube failure.

Our Advantages

and
01

Inspection Data Visualization

Guide Wave Ltd. provides a wide range of advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) technologies, many of which generate visualized corrosion results. These visual representations enable clients to better understand the condition of pipelines, storage tanks, and boilers, identify high-risk areas, and analyze corrosion distribution patterns. This information supports more effective corrosion mitigation strategies and risk management.
02

From Non-Destructive Testing to Continuous Monitoring

To meet the growing demand for smart petrochemical facilities, Guide Wave Ltd. actively introduces advanced pipeline corrosion monitoring systems. One example is the gPIMS Guided Wave Integrity Monitoring System developed by GUL (UK), which provides cloud-based large-scale pipeline monitoring, corrosion rate calculation, temperature monitoring, trend analysis of inspection data, and multi-level alarm notifications for early risk detection.
03

AI-Powered Non-Destructive Testing

To address corrosion at pipe supports—one of the most difficult areas to inspect—Guide Wave Ltd. offers the QSR1 Quantitative Short-Range Guided Wave Scanning System, an advanced Electromagnetic Acoustic Testing (EMAT) solution. Inspection data can be uploaded to the cloud-based AI platform, QSR STUDIO, enabling faster and more accurate corrosion depth assessment while providing real-time visualization of minimum remaining wall thickness and corrosion distribution at pipe supports.
